Monagamy vs polyamory

These days I meet many individuals young and older who gravitate towards polyamory. Polyamory means to have love for multiple people at once. If you have love for multiple people at once that is called friendship haha, though that is not what it is in this context.

The mindset is that no one is anyone’s “possession” and you have so much Love to give, therefore if you love someone you set him/her free by having no monogamous commitment to any person. In this context it is that you have a romantic connection with multiple people at once versus monogamy one person at once. It is often called a “pressure cooker” to evolve in consciousness as they say you meet many parts of your self you would not in a monagamous connection.

Relationships platonic or romantic are meant to mirror ourselves and learn, grow and evolve in consciousness through these mirrors presented to us. Being in a seriously committed monogamous relationship where both carry themselves and connect with eachother in freedom is the ultimate test of romantic loyalty. Often our issues of abondonment and commitment pop up anyways. When we don’t deal with such issues we might loose the attraction for our partner and we might be tempted to stray and find what we are looking for elsewhere. When we do this and we don’t communicate our innermost thoughts, feelings and emotions with our partner we are actually escaping reality.

There too in polyamory lies the danger of actually lingering in lower vibrations as one can become addicted to “sleeping around”. The question to ask oneself is why am I attracted to this person/these people, what type of attraction is this? Because we have still so many unhealed wounds we often confuse different types of attraction with True Love. These are not the same.

That being said every being deserves to be loved and accepted as they are no matter their sexual preference as long as they don’t consciously harm others.
